As expected, North Carolina’s crucial U.S. Senate race is close. Currently, Republican Thom Tillis has a slight lead over Democrat Kay Hagan, but fewer than 65 percent of precincts have reported thus far.
Tillis stretching out his lead over Hagan a little. Up by more than 30K votes statewide. Leads big in #RowanNC. #RowanElect

NYT/Upshot also showing a Tillis lead for the first time all night in the projected lead. That backs up @AoSHQDD call on the race. #Unreal

Only 200 precincts left in #NCSen (8% of total), and Thom Tillis's lead has grown to 2.3%. Not sure what saves Hagan.
