Politico reporter channels Hayes Brown, implies Amanda Bynes is racist for calling the Obamas ugly; Updated

Is Politico reporter Byron Tau, like Think Progress blogger Hayes Brown, suggesting that Amanda Bynes is a “full-on racist”? Sure sounds like it to us. And if all you read was this biased, poorly-reported article in Politico, you might come to the same flawed conclusion:

The former Nickelodeon star, who’s made headlines lately with her odd behavior, has previously used the same “ugly” insult on a list of stars including Jay-Z, Drake and Rihanna.

Bynes, of course, has called many other people ugly, including her mom and sister, Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus, Jenny McCarthy, Lance Bass, and Courtney Love.
