When Army Specialist Cole Tesar returned from a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan, wife Logan and baby daughter Harper had a special surprise planned. Carly Rae Jepsen’s got nothing on this little cutie: “Hey I just met you and this is crazy, but my name’s Harper and I’m your baby!”

Cole says he never lost sight of the end goal.
“Knowing that when it was all said and done, I would be with my family, I would be able to hold my baby for the first time, and be back with Logan and start a family.”
