As Twitchy reported earlier, the Connecticut health insurance marketplace is on fi-yah today. Access Health CT attracted a whopping 22 enrollments in three hours.
Earlier this week, the Hartford Courant reported that the Connecticut marketplace would offer platinum plans that “cover 90 percent of health expenses.” So were any of today’s enrollments platinum-level? According to the state exchange’s Twitter feed, platinum plans aren’t even available.
@dannydiggz We do not offer platinum level plans, just Bronze, Silver and Gold, plus catastrophic coverage.

The call center is reportedly telling a different story.

@AccessHealthCT Ahh, you need to relay that info to your call center! They don't know that. Called 2x regarding Plat plans "Not showing" smh

The Access Health CT website explains that plans “are divided into 3 categories – Gold, Silver, Bronze.” Platinum? Not so much.
So what kind of plans are really available? You might have to buy it to find out what’s in it.
