Report: Amanda Berry's inept 911 dispatcher had 'instant access to Cleveland's missing persons database'

After Cleveland police released Amanda Berry’s frantic 911 call, an outraged Twitterverse called for the inept, callous dispatcher to be fired.

Police Commander Thomas Stacho said the dispatcher “dropped the ball” by failing to be compassionate toward Berry just moments after she escaped the house where she had been held captive for years. He also noted the dispatcher may have been unfamiliar with Berry’s case.

But as it turns out, the dispatcher had “instant access” to a database of missing persons, according to 19 Action News reporter Scott Taylor.

Investigation into the call is ongoing.
