Reporter who launched heckling hoax: Newtown dad was 'heckled' by 'angry, mostly white guys'

Connecticut Post reporter Ken Dixon, the originator of the Newtown heckling hoax, doubled down on his lies on Wednesday. In response to a tweet asking if “heckle” was the right word, he replied, “Yes,” and defined heckle as “objections designed to embarrass.”

The anti-gun zealot repeated his deceitful rubbish in a Friday evening column.

Third verse, same as the first. After claiming, again, that gun enthusiasts “heckled” and “interrupted” Newtown dad Neil Heslin, Dixon wrote:

He rhetorically asked what gave people the right to own the type of military-style weaponry that killed 26 in the school, when they piped up “The Second Amendment,” until Senate Majority Leader Martin Looney offered to empty the room.

No, you dishonest hack, when Heslin asked the audience his question they didn’t “pipe up” with anything. Second Amendment supporters only responded after Heslin paused for their answer and announced, “Not one person can answer that question.” And even Heslin doesn’t appear to believe he was heckled.

But tripling down on the heckling hoax wasn’t enough for ethically-challenged liar Ken Dixon. The pallid gun grabber added a little race-baiting to the mix by explaining the “hecklers” were “angry, mostly white guys.” He added:

Remember back last fall, when you’d occasionally see a gun enthusiast mention the Second Amendment as a remedy to a presidential election that went the wrong way? Yep, that was a threat against Barack Obama.

You know, because of racism and “angry, mostly white guys.”

Dixon also used his platform to push his real agenda. Surprise! It has nothing to do with the truth.

If Connecticut doesn’t end up with the toughest gun-control laws in the nation, the General Assembly will have failed its post-Sandy Hook School mission.
