That’s right: Jerusalem is Israel’s “self-declared capital,” according to the AP. Guess that’s a step up from the BBC which won’t recognize Jerusalem as the capital at all.

As of 10:40 a.m. ET, the Associated Press article linked in that tweet still refers to Jerusalem as “Israel’s capital.” But evidently, the news organization developed new standards for Twitter after coming under criticism from UN boosters.
