Admission of defeat? Obama bids farewell to Florida; Mockery ensues

Has President Obama finally come around to the acceptance stage of grief? As he was departing the Sunshine State for the next stop on his “marathon extravaganza” tour, the president tweeted, “So long, Florida.”

@GrahamDavidA @BarackObama Yeah, not sure "so long, Florida" is a great message to send when you're slipping in the polls there. Yikes.

But who knows? Maybe the president will be back in Florida sooner than he thinks.

Not so long. You can retire there next year, play golf, miss all those pesky briefings!
