As a vocal proponent of same-sex marriage, isn’t Savage supposed to, y’know, help his cause? Did he wake up today thinking, “You know how I can win over some gay marriage opponents? I’ll compare marriage to the sexual use of whips and handcuffs. Oh, and just for kicks? I’ll call it make-believe.”

Clearly a brilliant plan to win hearts and minds.

We’re wondering, if marriage is just make-believe, why is it so important to him?
