Lying liar Nancy Pelosi: Duh! Of course I read the Obamacare bill to find out what was in it

Flashback to 2010: Two weeks before the president signed Obamacare into law, Nancy Pelosi invited a lifetime of mockery by claiming, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy.”

Now the Queen of Condescension claims the lying “far right” took her words “out of context.” You know, by quoting her and replaying video of her statement.

The health insurance industry, she said, spent “$200 million while we were debating the bill to lie about it. … I hate to use the word lie. I hate to use the word hate. I hate to tell you, they’re lying about it.”

“We’re in the trenches fighting this out,” she said. And: “We don’t even have a bill written yet. The Senate has not acted. And that really, the president really thought he was going to get a Republican vote in the Senate… You can’t say it’s in the bill, read it, ’cause there is no bill.”

Also, Pelosi said “we read the bill.”

Heh. Wasn’t it less embarrassing for her to have people believe she hadn’t read that monstrosity of a billl?

Oh, and the former speaker (we love writing that) “hates” the word “lie.” Really?
