Just yesterday, when asked if people are better off today than they were four years ago, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley answered with a clear “no.”
Today he was forced to retract his remark in a complete about-face. That’s what happens when Democrats don’t stick to the current script.

The governor already walked back his remark on Twitter. And on CNN’s “Starting Point,” he, of course, blamed Bush for the country’s inability to recover completely. Could another hostage video be in the works?
