It seems Sen. Chris Murphy is privy to information that no one else is when it comes to the investigation into the Trump campaign’s potential collusion with Russia.
He told Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week” that Trump has now stepped into the Nixon zone when it comes to needing to resign the presidency.

“Certainly a different set of facts,” but Trump is Nixon.
He also said it is beyond the stage of what led to the impeachment of Bill Clinton, but stopped short of implying that Bill should have been impeached.

Walking a fine line here, aren’t we, Sen. Murphy?
Sen. Murphy knows that Trump perjured himself in front of a grand jury? Because that would be big news. https://t.co/O7hLe88xx0

Trump apparently lied to a grand jury. https://t.co/WyEDyhpiRq

The most laughable line from Murphy: “Nobody’s rooting for the president to go down in this manner. This isn’t good for democracy.”
It’s so painful for our nation Murphy is going to go on network television to talk about allegations about which no corroborating evidence has yet been produced.
