Kirsten Powers was on a CNN panel discussing “why Trump resonates with white women” when she said this.
CNN's Kirsten Powers on women who voted for Trump: "They'll say, 'Well, I'm not racist. I just voted for him because I didn't like Hillary Clinton.' And I just want to say that's not — that doesn't make you not racist. It actually makes you racist." pic.twitter.com/P4Hy3KJeHY

There have been a lot of post-2016 excuses made by the Left, but calling someone racist because he or she didn’t want to support Hillary Clinton is a new one.
It’s a bold argument, Cotton. https://t.co/jSjTEyXPxX

You’re a RACISTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! The Left has nothing else. Nothing. https://t.co/y6s8SZe9E1

“You’re racist” remains the go to argument for the self righteous, intellectually inept Left. https://t.co/gYg7PKalzg

.@KirstenPowers You have no clue about why white women vote the way they do. You’re making judgments based on your own white guilt & labeling women who are not racist. I don’t understand why they have women like you explaining women like me—oh I do. You’re complicit in slander. https://t.co/nxu98ZoB14

So @CNNPR is it your company position that all Republicans are racist or do you just happily allow your commentators to hatefully accuse all Republicans and White Women who voted for Trump of being racist without consequence? https://t.co/wckPTOklOb

Please don’t eagerly await a response from CNN PR on that one.

She later clarified her comments.
For those upset abt my comments about racism+Trump supporters, I also said that ALL white ppl (not just Trump supporters) need to examine their own racist assumptions/white privilege that are the result of living in a society that privileges white people. That includes me.
— Kirsten Powers (@KirstenPowers) November 18, 2018
Well, actually, that clarifies nothing because she still seems to be operating out of the assumption that someone who chose to support Trump because he or she didn’t want to support Clinton is a racist.
This clarification doesn't help https://t.co/zbGZrofsQr

I have carefully examined my alleged privilege, and I have determined that every right, preference, advantage, edge, asset, and honor that I possess was obtained solely through my own efforts and hard work.
I have also determined that I have zero racist assumptions.

If you really believe this,
give up your paid perch on national television so a disadvantaged minority could have it. https://t.co/x7mIfM6pNw— Steve Deace (@SteveDeaceShow) November 18, 2018
In addition to the sheer ABSURDITY of the substance of what Powers said, when are people on the Left going to realize that continually making excuses for Hillary Clinton losing the 2016 election is NOT HELPING them? At. All.
