Katie Pavlich related her experience with TSA agents on Thursday. She describes two different agents with two different attitudes.

…2) woman, who was also the lead on shift/supervisor, told him “because my bag is so cluttered he should take out a whole bunch of crap and run it again.” She then made it a point to look at me to let me know she had total control over whether I made my flight & walked away…

…3) My bag wasn’t cluttered, nor full of crap. The TSA agent searching my bag apologized to me twice for her behavior. At least he was a professional! /end

While it is positive that the one agent had a pleasant disposition, the inconsistency seems to be the biggest issue. So much is left to the judgment and attitude of the TSA agents.
Even if Pavlich’s bag was cluttered (which it wasn’t), who cares? Why waste everyone’s time running it through a second time?
