Responses don't go as planned when reporter asks what to call a president influencing an investigation

Presiden Trump published a tweet Saturday which argues that the probe by special counsel Robert Mueller should have never been started.

Reporter Ron Fournier responded with the following question.

His question about Trump was immediately met with plenty of reminders that a president influencing a criminal investigation would be nothing new.

As frustrating as Trump’s tweets about the investigation may be, they do not erase the Obama administration’s own involvement in the investigation into Hillary Clinton.

At the very least, President Trump’s tweets are transparent to the extent that everyone knows what he is saying about the investigation. To this day, who really knows what was said between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch on the airport tarmac in Arizona?
