Dumbest. Argument. Ever. Facebook comms guy uses St. Patrick's Day to defend Elizabeth Warren

In response to a headline about Elizabeth Warren’s refusal to take a DNA test to prove that her claims of being part Native American are valid, Facebook’s policy communications manager, Nu Wexler, decided to go with the following analogy in her defense.

Basically, he’s saying that if you are not of Irish descent yet observe St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green, you are making a fraudulent claim about your ancestry.

That is beyond dumb.

How does one even come up with a take like that?
