Third Kentucky Elite Eight in three years

Kentucky defeated Indiana 102-90 Friday night to advance to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Basketball Tournament for the third time in as many years. In his third season, head coach John Calipari has engineered the turnaround of one of college basketball’s major powerhouses.

Additionally, the Wildcats have played six of the current Elite Eight teams and won each game.
