No, the point is that journalists who aspire to have credibility with readers do not tweet out fake quotes from the president of the United States who happens to be traveling internationally.

Bremmer’s attempt at teaching a lesson about Trump ended up turning into a lesson for Bremmer about Twitter spankings.
It appears @ianbremmer made up a Trump quote, presented it as real, watched as it spread through Twitter, and then, when called on his fabrication, defended himself by saying the quote was 'plausible.' Now, he seems to be enjoying the brouhaha…
