MSNBC contributor, The Root political editor, and journalism professor Jason Johnson claimed South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham ended a ‘Fox News Sunday’ interview “in a huff.”
@LindseyGrahamSC just got fact checked by Chris Wallace on @FoxNews about WHY senate rules for judicial appointees were changed. The result? Graham pulled off his mic and ended the interview in a huff

Watch the very end of the interview in this video and judge for yourself.
Townhall columnist and Fox News contributor Guy Benson called Johnson out for misrepresenting what took place.
This simply did not happen, as the video clearly demonstrates. Journalism professors should do better. https://t.co/zb4ajeKd9X https://t.co/Jz8GJ0KSWV

Nice try Ben….I saw it live and the full video was caught by Rawstory hours later https://t.co/4QLKDg3fIR

A journalism professor who apparently can’t get the name of the person he’s talking to correct.
My name is not Ben. I watched the entire thing. You entirely misrepresented Wallace’s “fact check,” Graham did not leave in a huff, and he started taking off his mic after he thought the interview was over. The longer video does not help your case. https://t.co/30XiCO2mqL

If anything, Chris Wallace allowed Graham to further his point at the end.
Fabrication, as anyone who watches the video can see. https://t.co/j5yDm9v6Zd

This is a blatant lie from a journalism professor and MSNBC contributor. Wallace didn't "fact check" him, he explained exactly what Graham was referring to. Graham seemingly didn't hear Wallace say thank you at the end, but rest was a normal exchange. (h/t @guypbenson) https://t.co/z1SOCQrVDb

You're a journalism professor who lies?
I'm not sure whether that's shameful, or explains everything. https://t.co/jpxab6Ak2h

This is such an inaccurate summary of the interview. The interview was over was over when the mic was removed. https://t.co/4g2VNzy4wz

Perhaps Graham didn’t hear Wallace sign off, but it certainly didn’t bespeak of someone “in a huff.”
This guy has been caught blatantly lying about this, and instead of retracting the statement, he keeps plugging away. Gee, I wonder why people don't trust the media? https://t.co/fZgEFMJX35
