Vice President Mike Pence has had enough of special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing probe into the 2018 presidential election.
He told Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC on Thursday that it is time for Mueller to call off the dogs.
Vice President Pence to Andrea Mitchell on the special counsel’s investigation: “I think it’s time to wrap it up. And I would very respectfully encourage the Special Counsel and his team to bring their work to completion.”

Predictably, Democrats, like California Rep. Eric Swalwell, were not happy with Pence’s comments.
"Extremely irresponsible for someone who should know better to try and influence the special counsel’s campaign. They are still counting Russians."

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham didn’t like it either.
NEW: Graham reacts to Pence
.@DanaBashCNN Vice President Mike Pence said that Robert Mueller needs to wrap it up, do you agree?
Sen. Lindsey Graham: That’s not Vice President Mike Pence’s decision to make. I’m sure Mr. Mueller will wrap it up when it gets time to wrap it up.

But, Pence has remained reserved when it comes to making remarks about the special counsel probe, in contrast to his boss. He must feel strongly that this is a tipping point when there needs to be closure.
It’s a fair point of view. Whether he should be commenting on the investigation, however, is up for debate.
