'Politics is clearly first': Fox reporter sounds off on double standard in investigative journalism

Fox News reporter Adam Housley is lamenting the hyper-political turn that investigative journalism has taken in recent years (and even more so in recent months).

Here is the investigative report to which he is referring. He published his findings on Friday, and there was scant coverage over the weekend by the major newspapers (New York Times, Washington Post…) and major networks (CBS, ABC, NBC).

Housley concluded that politics seems to come first now in just about every aspect of reporting, especially investigative reporting.

Even with overwhelming evidence, it would be hard to see today’s media pouncing on something if it doesn’t fit their narrative.
