Democratic congressman Jay Inslee to resign

Democratic congressman Jay Inslee, who represents Washington’s 1st Congressional District, will announce today that he is resigning from his current position in order to concentrate on the state’s gubernatorial race. He will formally announce his decision later this afternoon.
