Elon Musk shared this bit of data on the U.S. birthrate this morning, triggering an onslaught of liberal blue-check outrage because today is a day that ends in a “y”:
USA birth rate has been below min sustainable levels for ~50 years pic.twitter.com/v5PSLbvEAE
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 24, 2022
He later issued a few replies to make it clear what point he was trying to get across:
Contrary to what many think, the richer someone is, the fewer kids they have.
I am a rare exception. Most people I know have zero or one kid.
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 24, 2022
And he responded to Robby Starbuck, “We just need to celebrate having kids”:
America needs a culture shift that celebrates the nuclear family & having kids.
— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) May 24, 2022
We just need to celebrate having kids
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 24, 2022
BOOM! And a new slogan — “Make having kids great again” — was born:
Make having kids great again.

We’ll be on the lookout as libs will surely come after him over the replacement theory BS:
Hoo boy… you know what they're gonna accuse him of believing in now https://t.co/0HMpEuVsug

Well, if you look at what just happened in Georgia with the new investment in EVs from Hyundai and the Rivian electric truck plant, this isn’t too far off on the green side, at least:
If Musk red-pills the right into embracing EVs and immigration…. https://t.co/RMtbVB52DK

However, from a lib point of view, they want Musk to use his money to do something better with his time than “role-playing as an Afrikaner on a website he owns:
Deeply pathetic that the world’s richest man could do anything he wants but he chooses to spend his time role-playing as an Afrikaner on a website he owns https://t.co/oqmTdv471V

But Musk’s point was the “rich” are the ones not having kids, and they should be:
Maybe if women had more support like paid parental leave, universal pre-K, and if our generation wasn’t financially crippled then the birth rate might be higher… https://t.co/jJWIywoRkW

Imagine the outrage if Musk did try to help 3.5 million homeless kids?
There are 3.5 million homeless children in America today. Rather than aligning with forced birth Republicans, you could solve this problem with the loose change from your couch cushions. Why don't you? https://t.co/sMISUSkyF3

Yeah, this is exactly what he’s probably worried about . . . or not:
What does he even mean by sustainable? Less people using less resources making the entire planet more sustainable seems like a perfectly fine thing. Or is he getting stressed because there may not be enough rich people to buy his cars? Weird fucker https://t.co/VXgS3lEU5E
