Well, if you were on the fence over supporting Donald Trump in 2024, here’s one reason you might want to jump back on the Trump train. . .
Dr. Anthony Fauci told CNN’s Jim Acosta this afternoon that he will not serve as the White House Chief Medical Advisor if Trump wins in 2024:
CNN’s @acosta asks Dr. Anthony Fauci if he would return to the White House if Donald Trump was elected for a second term. Hear his response. pic.twitter.com/RM26OPZgYO

Transcript:
Jim Acosta: “If Trump were to return to the White House as President and Covid is still a threat or there’s some other public health emergency, would you have confidence in his ability — would you have confidence in his ability — to deal with the pandemic of this nature? Would you want to stay on in your post?”
Dr. Anthony Fauci: “Well, no, to the second question. The first question. . .”
Acosta: “I think I knew the answer. I had to ask you. . .”
Fauci: “If you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think at best you could say it wasn’t optimal and I think just history will speak for itself about that. I don’t need to make any further comment on that, Jim. It’s not productive.”

Acosta: “You would not serve with Trump again, though. That’s fair to say, right?”
Fauci: “For sure.”
And we’ll hold him to this promise. Good riddance.
