AP poll: 'Just 26% of Americans say the U.S. should play a major role in the Russia-Ukraine conflict'

A new poll out from the Associated Press found that “Just 26% of Americans say the U.S. should play a major role in the Russia-Ukraine conflict”:

From the AP:

Just 26% say the U.S. should have a major role in the conflict, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Fifty-two percent say a minor role; 20% say none at all.

Granted, everyone polled will have a different idea about what a “major role” means, but White House press secretary Jen Psaki dodged the question when asked about the poll at the briefing on Wednesday:

The poll also found that “Americans are particularly focused on economic issues, including rising inflation,” which will make the coming rise in gas prices pretty hard to swallow. Maybe team Biden can get Tom Hanks to make a new video?

It’s almost as if Americans are focused on major problems at home right now:
