Remember when President Joe Biden lifted sanctions on Nord Stream 2 just a few weeks ago? Here’s a reminder from Dana Loesch:
Remember when Biden lifted sanctions against Russia’s Nord Stream 2? Bold strategy Cotton.https://t.co/Bb6shkCLIr

And here’s a second reminder from Glenn Greenwald on how the media would have spun that move if the bad orange man were still in office:
Also, needless to say, if it were Trump rather than Biden who lifted the sanctions on Nord Stream 2 and used the Jim Crow filibuster to protect the Kremlin — rather than Biden doing so — NBC and CNN would be 24 hours with CIA operatives accusing Trump of being a Kremlin asset.

Anyway, Dems did everything they could to protect the vital pipeline from Russia to our NATO ally, Germany (funny how it’s our NATO ally that’s been funding Russia all these years, right?):

Anyway, now that an invasion of Ukraine is underway, German finally pulled the plug on Nord Stream 2:
JUST IN: Germany's Olaf Scholz pulls the plug on #NordStream2 – the major gas pipeline from Russia. A huge move. #RussiaUkraineCrisis

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says “the situation has fundamentally changed,” but it really hasn’t changed one bit:

Scholz says Nord Stream 2 won't be certified and he has instructed a new assessment of how Germany's energy supplies can be secured. "The situation has fundamentally changed"

Well, this “unexpected clarity” is what happens when you let Donald Trump get branded as anti-NATO when it’s NATO countries funding Russia while at the same time hoping to contain Russia:

You know, maybe getting rid of nuclear power after the Fukushima disaster wasn’t such a great idea after all:
Germany's Scholz says Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 won't go ahead. Germany's reliance on Russian gas is seen as a major weakness. But European market is also important to Russia's economy.

Where does former President Trump go to get his apology?
To the great detriment of the world, Biden reversed Trump era energy policy & helped Putin bring Nord Stream 2 online.
Now Putin is using Nord Stream 2 in order to blackmail Europe into doing his bidding.
Biden is the worst president of all time. https://t.co/jeRBX0R0Om
— Sean Parnell (@SeanParnellUSA) January 26, 2022
But, instead of admitting Trump had it right, they’re saying he’s still at fault:
Incredible backflipping to try to blame Trump for the Ukraine disaster by arguing he was right about Nord Stream 2, but didnt oppose it well enough, until Biden supported it, but Trump should have stopped it, bc now its a problem. Bizarre propaganda: https://t.co/H9xKCvYDUx

What a joke this has all become:
Vladimir Putin took advantage of leeway offered by President Donald Trump to push through construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. Now, the project has become a weapon in the Russia-Ukraine standoff.https://t.co/lVPlsYy9Cu
