Newsweek journo refuses to correct his article claiming Justice Gorsuch said 'hundreds of thousands' die from the flu each year

The Washington Post Fact Checker, in an answer to angry libs, wants them to know that Justice Neil Gorsuch was misquoted in the official transcript of the OSHA mandate hearing and he DID NOT say, as many libs claim, that “hundreds of thousands” die from the flu each year:

To the "whatabout Gorsuch?" folks: Read the Sotomayor fact check and you will see that audio shows Gorsuch was misquoted in the transcript. So that's why he wasn't fact checked. He didn't say anything wrong. But Sotomayor did. https://t.co/YAKCa2qNfJ

You can hear for yourself what Justice Gorsuch said and there’s no argument about it:

Hey geniuses. You are falsely smearing Justice Gorsuch for a TRANSCRIPTION ERROR.

Listen carefully: "Flu kills, I believe, hundreds, thousands of people every year."

Correct and retract your false stories.

But not for Newsweek’s Jason Lemon. He is not updating his article until SCOUTS updates the transcript:

If Newsweek refuses to correct, perhaps you should give them some pinocchios. https://t.co/PUAwtAE3uM

LOL, hack. Keep digging:

I’ve reached out to SCOTUS multiple times for clarification before and after publication. They haven’t clarified. I and many others hear “of” in the audio. I will be more than happy to change if SCOTUS/Gorsuch say the official transcript is wrong.

What the heck is going on over at Newsweek? Sheesh:

This Newsweek reporter is pure and true of heart enough to hear the silent "of"! Remarkable! https://t.co/D2XQmeJgk7
