The story about the Houston mom who quarantined her Covid+ 14-year-old in the trunk of a car is actually WORSE than the headline says

We wish this headline was satire but it’s not.

A mother in Houston really did fear getting Covid so much that she quarantined her Covid+ 14-year-old in the trunk of the car as she went to get him tested again:

But the story is actually much, much worse than the headline. You see, the mother is a public school teacher:

According to Cy-Fair ISD, Beam most recently worked as a teacher at Cypress Falls High School and has been employed by the district since 2011. She is now on administrative leave.
