Here it comes. . .
Los Angles Public Health has begun warning parents of new Covid guidance when classes start next year that includes “masking upgrades” that ditches cloth masks and recommends surgical grade or KN95 masks for kids in school:
In cruel acknowledgment cloth masks don’t work, @lapublichealth will be updating LA school guidance so that no one (for the next 2-4 wks), including students, should only wear a cloth mask. They will have to wear a N95, KN95, or a surgical mask (preferably w/ a cloth mask).

Here’s the email going around that parents are sharing online with the warning:
After “they” finally admitted cloth masks don’t work, @lapublichealth is contemplating forcing them on students outdoors now? If they don’t work indoors, they don’t work outdoors. #thescience @ReopenCASchools @letthem_breathe @UTLAUncensored pic.twitter.com/bYBCSiRht0

On the plus side, they finally admit cloth masks don’t work. On the other hand, HAVE THEY EVER TRIED TO WEAR A KN95 MASK ALL DAY? How are they going to get kids — or teachers, for that matter — to wear them?
So, they finally admit that masks, unless a properly fitted N95, do not, in fact, work.
Now, they need to explain how they plan to get a properly fitted N95 in the hands of the people required to wear one. https://t.co/WxwC11qU0t

And is it too much to ask that these people do a little simple math? The district has about 600,000 students:
The two benefits of cloth masks (that don't work) are that they're cheap and washable. You hand out free ones and you're done. With N95 masks, you need new ones at least once a day. In LA, this means something like 3 million masks a week. That's not doable. https://t.co/VodrrxfGIA

They’re insane. They’ve gone insane:
Completely unhinged. Lunacy.

Is it a requirement that public health officials have never met a member of the public? There is no attempt to discern costs and benefits of policies or determine what might actually give benefit without, well, being insane, which is what this is. https://t.co/arX0yHmiUI

And why should we trust them now?
“Hey, we closed schools for a year and then masked students for a year with facial decorations, even outdoors, because of our zealotry for zero-COVID, which was never possible, but definitely trust us when we say small children should wear N95s and it’ll be good for them!”

Narrator: It will not stop, at least, not in California:
THIS IS ENRAGING. STOP THE ABUSE! THE USA IS INSANE WHEN IT COMES TO KIDS & MASKS – WE ARE AN INTERNATIONAL OUTLIER.
UNMASK THE CHILDREN! https://t.co/W0dXJX7uMz— Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) December 30, 2021
