Vox's Ian Millhiser is warning people at parties to 'have a plan to relocate to a democratic nation where you speak the language'

Vox senior correspondent Ian Millhiser tweeted earlier today that he’s so worried about the future of the United States that he’s telling people at parties to “have a plan to relocate to a democratic nation where you speak the language” just in case:

Someone asked me at a party the other night how worried I am about the future of the United States, and my response was “I’m not saying that you will need to use this plan. But it is a good idea to have a plan to relocate to a democratic nation where you speak the language.”

Why wait? Leave now:

Can you please do that now? Get ahead of the curve. https://t.co/ySdeLrkpNN

And we are curious as to which country speaks such a crazy dialect of English:

are there foreign democratic countries that speak Resistance Twitter? https://t.co/QQFS1iWW2q

And imagine how bad it’s going to get when Dems lose the House and Senate in 2022:

They know 2022 is coming and they’re coping well. https://t.co/VErZm2m4ML

We *think* he’s serious, but who knows any longer:

I feel like I’m missing something on the latest “America is fascism” push… Like, the presidency and congress and most cities are held by elected democrats… Is the rhetoric just getting hotter to keep attention going or are they serious? https://t.co/uCj6SilTRV

And, if this is true, imagine just how awful these parties might be?

I totally believe that this is what DC Democrats talk about at their parties https://t.co/DsVYy7UIyd
