The New York Post published a bombshell on Saturday, reporting that former President Trump wanted to “publicly grill” Dr. Anthony Fauci over the theory that COVID-19 escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China but he was stopped from doing so by senior members of his own administration:

The NY Post is reporting details from a new book out in September titled, “What Really Happened In Wuhan: The cover-ups, the conspiracies and the classified research” by Sharri Markson:
President Trump wanted to haul Dr. Anthony Fauci in front of a presidential commission to give evidence about funding the Wuhan laboratory suspected of leaking COVID-19.
Advanced plans were underway for the special presidential panel, with an executive order even drawn up to hold China and its collaborators accountable and tally a reparations bill to fire off to Beijing.
Trump’s senior advisers talked him out of the idea as it was about to be announced, according to insider accounts detailed in a soon-to-be-released book on the origins of COVID-19, “What Really Happened in Wuhan.”
Newsmax’s Emerald Robinson is calling for this to be “investigated further” and called out Larry Kudlow and Mike Pompeo specifically:

1) Trump wanted a commission to confront China & Fauci about COVID origins. It was stopped by Trump's own economic advisors – namely Larry Kudlow.

2) Pompeo's State Dept wanted to confront China diplomatically but the effort got stalled inside State. In other words, Pompeo never took control at State, never sidelined the Democrat career officials, never got anything done.

That’s a good question not only for Pompeo but for everyone else in the WH who stymied the president:
3) The US government has solid evidence that China did research on COVID vaccines PRIOR to the virus being "leaked" from Wuhan. That would indicate the "leak" was intentional and thus an act of war. China filed vaccine patents much too early for the leak to be "an accident."
