Things are getting UGLY in the GOP House primary race in Wyoming

GOP Wyoming state Sen. Anthony Bouchard, who is challenging Rep. Liz Cheney for the state’s lone House seat, released a video on Friday saying he impregnated his 14-year-old girlfriend when he was 18 years old and living in Florida:

He said in the video that an opposition research firm was looking into the story and he wanted to get ahead of it:

In the video, he said “it like the Romeo and Juliet story”:

The two got married but then divorced and the woman committed suicide when she was 20:

From the Wyoming Star Tribune:

Bouchard told the Star-Tribune he married the girl when she was 15 and he was 19. At the time, they were both living in Florida.

The two were legally able to get married at the time because Florida law stated that people could marry at any age with a judge’s approval if a pregnancy was involved and a parent consented. They got divorced approximately three years later.

If this is any indication, the race is going to be UGLY:

There is a pro-life message in here and it may not hurt Bouchard as much as people think it will hurt Bouchard:
