“Jeopardy!” contestant Kelly Donahue was attacked this week by over 400 former contestants who accused him of making a white power gesture on the show. See it for yourself:

But he’s holding up three fingers because he had won three times:
He held up three fingers when he won for the third time. That's the entire thing. https://t.co/gRsNGvyeky

He had held up one and two fingers after his first and second wins:
He held up one finger and then two in the previous episodes to indicate how many times he won. Anybody who's not a moron would realize he was doing the same thing when he held up three fingers. People are so eager to be offended by everything nowadays. https://t.co/DQ1rDNNaoE pic.twitter.com/tvrz5HSLr4

Donohue was forced to issue this lengthy post on Facebook to explain what really happened:
Should Steph Curry apologize, too?

And how does this guy get his reputation back:
Is defending an innocent person against nazi smears engaging in pointless culture wars or nah? https://t.co/kbH4ZrnYlp

Keep in mind how this all started:
This all started from a Twitter account with 30 Twitter followers, was passed to a former contestant (who has since deleted their account), who wrote a Medium letter (With 28 subscribers.), and now it's turned into this. pic.twitter.com/opNaf8RqFX

He now is forced to deny any white power ties and issue an apology.. Because a majority of news outlets are labeling him a white supremacist because of one Twitter account with 30 followers. pic.twitter.com/YjvGrAp6kF

Even Snopes debunked it:
❌ No, "Jeopardy" champ Kelly Donohue didn't make the "White Power" hand gesture. https://t.co/FAlAGdfbY6 pic.twitter.com/ednOE4XtkT

That *IS* embarrassing:
It's embarrassing when even Snopes has to tell you that you're being complete jackasses.https://t.co/ji0cANRHn1

Maybe he should sue?
Read the update here. People's willingness to recklessly defame people is just wild. He could sue the hell out of everybody who signed this. https://t.co/yUrHhl2GOH

Not only this, but it feels like it’s getting worse:
We live in incredibly stupid times. Stop, just stop. https://t.co/SpS1wF2ZDH
