Here's what President Trump had to say after Congress affirmed Joe Biden as the next President

It’s official.

Congress has affirmed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next President and Vice President of the United States:

More than 14 hours after he called joint session to order, Vice President Mike Pence announced Joe Biden received 306 electoral votes & Donald Trump received 232 electoral votes.

The declaration was made at 3:39 a.m.:

President Trump issued a statement minutes later promising an orderly transition:
