Andrew Cuomo sat down with the ladies of “The View” and immediately blamed President Trump for every Covid-19 death in the country:
New York Gov. Cuomo says he holds Pres. Trump “responsible for every death in this country” from COVID-19 because the admin “lied” and was “totally incompetent” in their response: “110,000 people more are going to die because [Trump] won’t wear a mask.” https://t.co/f8u2wbJuik pic.twitter.com/C89czabjRf

He also blamed asymptomatic spread among nursing home staffers from “early on before we understood” what was going on:
"What happened in nursing homes is the disease came in with the staff early on before we understood there was asymptomatic spread," Cuomo says.

Of course, Gov. Cuomo won’t provide any data to back up this assertion:
The state is yet to provide the data used to compile a report blaming asymptomatic carriers for spreading COVID in nursing homes.
— Nick Reisman (@NickReisman) October 29, 2020
And the state didn’t even bar asymptomatic staffers from working in nursing homes until April 29:
he state did not bar asymptomatic staff from working in nursing homes until April 29, hours after it was asked about at a news conference https://t.co/pU8bOC7GKS

He’s also not a fan of the DOJ starting too look into his handling of the crisis:
On The View, Cuomo contends NY is 46 on list of nursing home deaths.
One point not mentioned: NY hasn't included those who died from nursing homes. But on the flipside, NY does include probably COVID nursing home deaths.
"Especially cruel," Cuomo says of DOJ seeking details

He says it’s because it’s an election year:
Cuomo on The View says the DOJ is investigating his handling of nursing homes because an election is being held.
"The truth is people are dying today in nursing homes in Republican states. It's just Democratic states had the disease first and worse."

There were no follow-up questions on any of this, however, because the ladies were very concerned about who Gov. Cuomo is and is not dating:
To recap, @TheView asked follow up questions about whether or not Andrew Cuomo would date Chelsea Handler but not how his March 25th order impacted nursing homes.
— Virginia Kruta (@VAKruta) October 29, 2020
He only dates “in-state residents,” he said:
Cuomo being asked about @chelseahandler and whether he is ghosting her.
"I've had a lot of conversations about flattening the curve, but not that way," Cuomo jokes on @TheView
He laughs and says he's only dating "in-state residents"
— Joseph Spector (@GannettAlbany) October 29, 2020
But there’s hope for Chelsea Handler if she moves!
Asked on @TheView about whether he “ghosted” @chelseahandler, who says she asked him out on a date, @NYGovCuomo says as of right now he is “only dating New York State residents.” If Handler changes where she lives, he *might* date her.

What. A. Joke.
