VIRAL VIDEO: Man saves dog's life after its leash got caught in a closing elevator door

Meet Johnny Mathis who reported on December 9 that he rescued a dog after its owner went into an elevator and the door closed leaving the pooch about to be hanged by its own leash:

Y’all I’m shaking!!! I just saved a dog on a leash that didn’t make it onto the elevator with the owner before the door closed! I just happened to turn around as the door closed and it started to lift off the ground I got the leash off in time??
