Brandon Darby throws ICE COLD WATER on Dems AND Republicans as he offers up a possible way forward on the border crisis

Breitbart’s Brandon Darby, who is probably one of the best reporters covering border issues, is offering up a possible way forward on the border crisis that will not make activists on either side very happy. TL;DR: We’re a 50/50 country and there must be a compromise.

1. I’ll say it. The only healthy resolution to our border crisis is one that involves both sides. It requires some more focused on rule of law and some more focused on direct compassion to be able to function and compromise together so all concerns are considered and balanced.

2. Dems largely dropped the ball in 2014 and GOP addressed border issues with strict rule of law and security approach. That hasn’t worked because half the nation doesn’t agree with it and we live in a nation where people can vote.

3. If Dems try to have their way, it won’t work because half the nation won’t agree with them and that half also votes. Also, Dem policies without GOP balance will create pull factors that perpetuate the flow and ultimately increase the damage to migrants’ home nations.

4. Both sides in debate have some valid concerns. It’s going to take leaders with courage from both sides willing to risk their next primary for the greater good in order to solve this problem. What both sides are currently doing isn’t working and hasn’t been for years.
