There’s a claim, since debunked, flying around liberal Twitter that Sen. Chuck Grassley was going to require Christine Blasey Ford to testify at the (no off) public hearing on Monday at the same table as Judge Brett Kavanaugh:

This made no sense and the Judiciary Committee made that crystal clear last night, issuing a statement that read “Contrary to suggestions by Dr. Ford’s attorneys, the committee had no plans to place Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh on a a panel together, and never indicated plans to do so”:
