We’re seeing numerous reports this morning out of New York City that people have been removed from the voting rolls and are having to vote with affidavit ballots:
Team @CynthiaNixon – you’ve shared so much helpful info/reminders for preparing to vote today. Do you have any resources for when a polling place doesn’t have your info? Would have loved to have read up before my horrible experience this morning.

Guess who wasn’t on the rolls this morning at the polling place I’ve voted for four years?

Many blue-checks are reporting the same thing happened to them as well. HuffPost’s Lydia Polgreen:
Happened to me too. https://t.co/fUWOJ31FJo

Jess McIntosh, @ShareBlue:
Had to assert my rights for the 1st time at a polling place today!Reminder: if you’re in the right place and not on the rolls, sign an affidavit and cast a provisional ballot. (For @CynthiaNixon and @ZephyrTeachout.)

Lily Burana, author:
It's only the early hours, but already I've seen FIVE people tweeting that they're mysteriously not on the rolls at the polling place/in the district where they've voted for years! Hm. Head on a swivel, everybody. #Vote #Elections

Now, if this happened in a red state and not Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s liberal utopia, everyone would probably be screaming about voter suppression. It must be nice to live in a place where normal bureaucratic snafus are not turned into something sinister.
