Just to follow up on our story yesterday about how Salena Zito’s latest NY Post article was flagged as spam and removed from Facebook, they’re now saying it was a “bug”:
Hi Salena, a bug caused some posts to be incorrectly marked as spam and removed. We've fixed the issue and restored the posts. We're really sorry this happened.

And it only took them 14 hours to respond!
Regarding my story being taken down on my Facebook page (as well as many others) and marked as spam or not up to Community Standards Facebook has responded approximately 14 hours after I inquired as to why.

Although this does seem to have happened to other publishers as well:

Maybe using an algorithm to police speech isn’t the best idea?
Also, Facebook NEEDS to do a lot better. The issues here are “no transparency”:
