CHE FAILS AGAIN! Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's candidate goes down in flames in HI-01 primary

Earlier we told you how celebrity Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez forgot to name Kaniela Ing while introducing him at his own rally, which was funny.

But what’s REALLY funny is how awful the Hawaiian Democratic Socialist did after the endorsement of the NYC Democratic Socialist: 6%.

Ocasio-Cortez's candidate got… 6% it seems in HI-01. This isn't a critique on either. It's more that endorsements usually don't matter, unless the field is undefined (it wasn't with Case in there) and/or you get someone with big name rec like Trump making the endorsement.

Even worse for the cause, the guy who won — Ed Case — is a former congressman known as a centrist who even voted for the Iraq war:

The #HI01 primary was rough for the left. Not only did DSA/AOC-backed Kaniela Ing lose, the winner — in a safe blue seat — was Ed Case, a centrist former congressman who supported the Iraq War.

If Democratic Socialism isn’t popular in liberal Hawaii, we’re not sure how it will play in swing districts:
