The latest blue-check meltdown over Sean Hannity is over comments he made on his show last night which they say encouraged witnesses to destroy their electronic devices before special counsel Robert Mueller can get his hands on them. (Spoiler: He didn’t say that)
Watch:
Hey remember when Assange DM'd Hannity asking him to reach out on an encrypted app?
Tonight Hannity is freaking out about Mueller searching encrypted apps and "advised" all Mueller witnesses to "bash" their phones "into itsy bitsy pieces" pic.twitter.com/cZhaUqVNQk

And as you just heard if you watched the clip, he’s making a point that Hillary Clinton got away with smashing her devices with a hammer so why should Trump associates be treated any differently?
Here’s some of the rage we’ve seen:
Sean Hannity to witnesses in Mueller probe: “Bash” your phones into pieces https://t.co/xYdZ1nlxu0

Sean Hannity tells federal witnesses to destroy evidence so they can own the libshttps://t.co/YeaVkHlHTs

In unrelated news, hours after this Sean Hannity has an on-air melt down instructing witnesses to destroy evidence. https://t.co/GgfgYdKnGX

I think at this time next year Sean Hannity will be in prison. Not kidding.

Sean Hannity just went berserk on-air about Trump-Russia, and probably sent himself to prison in the process https://t.co/TwT5clSeqf

Did they not watch the clip?
Did… people actually watch the Hannity clip? He was a making a Hillary Clinton joke. The people freaking about the prospect of him destroying his phone are inadvertently making his point.

These blue-check are being purposefully misleading:
Despite what media outlets and the Twittersphere are saying, Sean Hannity did not break the law or tell anyone else to do so on his show last night. Details: https://t.co/4o7V1d6rwE pic.twitter.com/3j66mLFYPe
— Law & Crime (@lawcrimenews) June 7, 2018
The Media Matters guy who posted the clip even later posted another clip where Hannity explicitly said it was a joke and not real advice https://t.co/keBwvFfNgu

And thanks for making Hannity’s point:
If you think Sean Hannity should go to jail for telling Mueller witnesses to delete data and destroy their phones with a hammer…
Then you must agree that Hillary Clinton should be in jail because that's EXACTLY what she did… Period.
— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) June 7, 2018
The people outraged that Sean Hannity said Mueller witnesses should do EXACTLY what Hillary Clinton did with her data and phones…
Were NEVER outraged that Hillary actually did it.
You can't have it both ways.

As they say, “Lock her up!”
