'Solo: A Star Wars Story' co-writer Jonathan Kasdan just revealed that a MAJOR character is 'pansexual'

A galaxy far, far away’s most eligible bachelor, Lando Calrissian is “pansexual” says Jonathan Kasdan, son of legendary Star Wars scribe Lawrence Kasdan and co-writer of the upcoming “Solo: A Star Wars Story” (Polygon has an error in the headline which they’ve corrected):

This means Lando is “not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.” But we certainly don’t remember this in the original:

As for the reboot of Lando, is pansexuality limited to humans or are Wookies fair game as well? Lot of lonely nights on the Falcon as they travel through hyperspace…

Or any number of hot alien creatures they might encounter could be fair game:

And watch out C-3PO!

Most of the criticism we’ve seen, however, sees this is a cop out if they don’t show any hot Lando pansexual action in the movie:

And it’s being compared to J.K. Rowling declaring that her character Dumbledore was gay although it never came up in any of the books or films:

“Solo” opens May 25 in theaters everywhere.
