We're confused. Is NBC clears itself in sexual harassment investigation Fake News or not?

Amazing. NBC’s internal investigation of the suits in the NBC News division finds that management did nothing wrong over the numerous sexual harassment claims made against former “Today” star Matt Lauer:

According to the internal report, nobody knew anything about it:

The report says “all four women who came forward confirmed that they did not tell their direct manager or anyone else in a position of authority about their sexual encounters with Lauer”:

Is anyone buying that?

Investigating yourself is what you might call Fake News:

It’s the management culture at NBC that’s the problem:

The report also says Ann Curry is a liar:

As for Lauer’s door, the report says the door could not lock from the inside with the push of the magic button:

Well, we already knew that. But it did lock the door from the outside and that’s the point, no? From the Washington Post:

The automatic mechanism — which engaged a powerful magnet to close the door — locked it so that people outside the office could not enter. Anyone on the inside, however, could open the door without hitting the button, the NBC News employee said.
