As we told you earlier, Rudy Giuliani told Sean Hannity on Wednesday night that President Trump did reimburse Michael Cohen for the $130,000 hush money payment ot porn star Stormy Daniels. The president later took to Twitter in an attempt to clarify things, saying the payments to Cohen were a “retainer” and now at reimbursement.
In any event, things are a mess and will likely get worse. Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway — an attorney who was reportedly on Trump’s list for United States Solicitor General in 2017 — dropped this bomb on the president, tweeting the section of FEC law that might have been violated:

Giuliani statement (potentially) absolves Cohen of one campaign finance violation, but exposes Trump on another: knowingly filing a false campaign finance report.
Instead of an excessive contribution from Cohen, it is an undisclosed contribution from Trump to his campaign.— Nick Confessore (@nickconfessore) May 3, 2018

If you recall, Kellyanne bristled when asked about her husband’s subtweets of the president in an interview with Dana Bash in April:
