Whoops.
Politico Europe political editor Ryan Heath was duped by a Stephen Miller parody account on Sunday, tweeting that the fake Miller’s trolling was evidence that American political aides are “as dogdy” as their EU counterparts.
First up, here’s the parody account at work, trolling Twitter with a comment on Maxine Waters’ IQ:

And here’s Heath’s response:
Every time I think some EU aides are as dodgy as their US administration counterparts, Twitter always provides us with cause for reflection. https://t.co/uhyWEUHxTg

Not only does the parody Miller have a spelling error in his handle — it’s “Stephen” not “Steven” — but the account is clearly labeled as a “parody” in the fake Miller’s bio:
And does Heath really think the real Miller would say, “Congress should pass a constitutional amendment that prohibits taxes from being any higher than Maxine Waters’ IQ”? We get that the media is pissed at Trump calling out Waters, but come on:
Trump calls Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters "a very low-IQ individual."
He repeats: "She's a low-IQ individual."
Likely uncoincidentally, Waters is Black.
