Well, this is a crappy start to the Winter Olympics…
CNN is reporting that 1200 security guards at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea have been quarantined after a number of them tested positive for norovirus:

From CNN:
Norovirus alert. PyeongChang Olympic Organization Committee tells CNN it pulled 1200 guards from duty…after 41 guards suffered sudden diarrhea & vomiting. 900 people have been brought in to replace guards.

But it’s not just diarrhea and vomiting plaguing the town. A sudden burst of global warming, which scientists tell us can cause unusually frigid temperatures, is making watching the event rather uncomfortable:

So, who’s the genius who thought of this?

Organizers might even tell spectators to stay home:
While the athletes are prepared for the bone-chilling temperatures, worries about spectators catching hypothermia or staying home have been raised. https://t.co/xDUKYSEytH

Suck it up, cupcakes. How cold could it be if this young lady is still able to protest in a bikini?
