Breaking news out of the music world tonight where we’re learning more about what caused the death of legend Tom Petty:

According to the family, they think it was the hip that caused him the most pain, which led to the overdose:
"It is our feeling that the pain was simply unbearable and was the cause for his over use of medication," the family wrote.
