Actors Mark Ruffalo and Alyssa Milano have been trolling FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai and asking him to comment on a report that said hundreds of thousands of comments on the FCC website over Net Neutrality were actually fakes posted by Russian bots:
The FCC got 444,938 comments on net neutrality from Russian email addresses https://t.co/8EKaRcleEH pic.twitter.com/q0DeWOvJw4

Spoiler: They did not like his answer…
First up, Here’s Alyssa Milano:
Care to comment, @AjitPaiFCC?#SaveNetNeutrality #NetNeutrality https://t.co/iZfiz20NjI
— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) December 2, 2017
And then Ruffalo chimed in:
Hello @AjitPaiFCC? Why are Putin’s bots working for you? https://t.co/SB6yn6Oeqh
— Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) December 3, 2017
Now here comes the boom as it’s obvious that neither Ruffalo or Milano read the article as the Russian bot comments were in favor of keeping the current Net Neutrality rules, which means the Russians were pimping what Ruffalo and Milano wanted to happen:
Hello @Alyssa_Milano and @MarkRuffalo, the 445K comments you referenced, purporting to be from Russia, are in support of #netneutrality regulations. You’re always welcome to view the public comments at https://t.co/oV8TRt7shu. https://t.co/bhqUJKIB71

But, of course, Milano refused to ask why the Russians would support her position and instead used Pai’s tweet to call for comprehensive comment form reform:
Finally we agree, @AjitPaiFCC! Your own flawed comment system lacks integrity and is unreliable. You should also agree with the rest of the world and take #NetNeutrality repeal off the agenda until you can figure out how to hear from the American people. https://t.co/OR6mA9R4h5 https://t.co/NcdMHpe1h1
