Remember when Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana kissed up to late-night host Jimmy Kimmel to bash Obamacare, saying it failed the “Jimmy Kimmel test”? Here’s a reminder:

Sen. Cassidy actually invented the phrase, “Jimmy Kimmel test,” and said it’s needed for any future health-care bill. Cassidy even defined it on Kimmel’s show in response to Kimmel’s son’s heart surgery:
“I ask, does it pass the Jimmy Kimmel test? Would the child born with a congenital heart disease be able to get everything she or he would need in the first year of life? I want it to pass the Jimmy Kimmel test.”
Well, now that Cassidy is sponsoring his own Obamacare repeal bill, Kimmel is hitting him on the “Jimmy Kimmel test,” saying the bill the senator is sponsoring fails his own test:
@BillCassidy flunks his own created "Jimmy Kimmel test" according to @jimmykimmel. That's pretty awful.

Kimmel went on to tell Cassidy to stop using his name while promoting his bill:
“Stop using my name. I don’t want my name on it.”

And he called Cassidy a liar:
Kimmel: "there's a new Jimmy Kimmel test. It's the lie detector test."

Kimmel posted this picture of him and his son — the subject of Cassidy’s test — writing the monologue last night:
Billy's helping me write tonight's monologue. I'll give our thoughts on the #GrahamCassidy health "care" bill. @BillCassidy @LindseyGrahamSC pic.twitter.com/IOmJ4am5D7

And here’s the entire clip:

When Republicans kiss up to Hollywood, this is what happens. Every. Time.
